worship synonyms:
adoration, love, reverence, respect, devotion, adulation, veneration
What the people of God say:
Papa Jesherun - True worship. God loves faithful worship from the heart.
Chavvah - Worship from a pure heart.
What the word of God says:
John 4:23, 24 - The time is coming when the true worshipers will worship the
Father in spirit and truth, and the time is here already. You see, the
Father, too, is actively seeking such people to worship him. God is spirit and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.Exodus 4:30, 31 …Then Moses did the miracles for all the people to see, and the Israelites believed. When they heard that the Lord was concerned about them and had seen their troubles, they bowed down and worshiped him.
What I think (my conclusion of what worship is):
I think that worship is loving someone so
much, keeping their face before you, doing things for them and giving
glory and honor to them. I think it is related to praise, but is deeper:
more actions instead of words. I think praise and worship go
hand-in-hand.
Great, Rachel. I loved your conclusion.
